homes of the past:
PMDiSign, Generation 1
Launched in 2001 this site served as a demo for web ideas, testing, and presenting web skills learned in school.
Website Highlights: This site was developed with Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, and Coldfusion.
Developed on a PC with an IIS server and Access database and utilizes server side includes and database interaction. All of our sites are
tested against the W3 to assure browser compatibility.
PMDiSign, Generation 2
As skills developed and web technologies changed PMDisign was refreshed to better reflect these updates.
Website Highlights: Also developed with Macromedia and Adobe however Cascading Style Sheets now play a heavy role as does
the lastest HTML 4.0 or XHMTL 1.0. The content was slimmed to reflect a more professional look.
PMDiSign, Generation 3
PMDiSign needed some updating but stresses of pursuing a Masters Degree meant little time for experiments or error. This version of PMDiSign was based on modifying a template from a design lesson.
Website Highlights:Dreamweaver and Photoshop played key roles but advances in browser compatibility with CSS meant better, richer, and light-weight websites.
PMDiSign, Generation 4
2005 For Modern Browsers
Website Highlights: Designed with the modern browser in mind this version relied on CSS layer and CSS rollovers instead of JavaScript.
